Bravo and Congratulations to the Sycamore Junior High Orchestra & 8th Grade Band on tremendous performances at the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) Professional Conference!
The OMEA Conference is an annual event and features performances by the best bands and orchestras from across the state of Ohio.  To be considered for this honor, ensembles must submit a recording of the group which is then reviewed by a selection committee.  To be chosen to perform is a tremendous honor and to have two ensembles from the same school is a very unique honor!  The appearance by the Sycamore Junior High Orchestra at this year’s conference was their eighth and this was the first appearance for the 8th Grade Band.

The Sycamore HS Marching Band and Orchestra are going to Walt Disney World!
The Sycamore High School Marching Band and Orchestra will be returning to Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida in 2016!  Our students will once again get the opportunity to perform for thousands of people, attend workshops and make magical memories that will last a lifetime! Our trip is only 10 months off, November 9 through 13, 2016 and we wanted to let everyone know so they can begin planning for this tremendous opportunity. We have been hard at work to insure another incredible experience for everyone.  Our past experiences with Disney have been great and our performances have been in front of enormous crowds.  This optional 2016 trip will be similar to those of the past and not only will it be fun, it will include inspiring performances and workshops for the students! Read More
